NCDAA MISSION STATEMENT
NCDAA is an all volunteer, 501C3, not-for-profit community
organization, dedicated to the prevention of alcohol, tobacco and
other drug use by our youth.
NCDAA proposes to accomplish this mission by:
- initiating, organizing, facilitating, and coordinating family
and community prevention efforts
- collaborating with other sectors of our community in prevention
efforts
- providing information and education on alcohol, tobacco and
other drug related issues.
- networking, primarily with Northbrook community
systems, as well as with other local, state and national alcohol,
tobacco, and other drug prevention organizations.

NCDAA GOALS &
OBJECTIVES
- Maintain and increase Northbrook's awareness
and knowledge of alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention concepts and
strategies in order to promote a "no use" climate for the youth of our
community.
- Maintain and serve as a catalyst for
involvement of all sectors of our community in alcohol, tobacco and
other drug prevention in order to promote a "no use" climate for the
youth of our community.
- Serve as a catalyst and/or coordinator for
alcohol, tobacco and other drug youth involvement programs in order to
increase the opportunities for prevention, education and awareness for
youth.
- Provide options for alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention
education for Northbrook families in order for parents and youth,
together, to strengthen the family unit.
- Continue to assess NCDAA's long term plan.
